This is an expanding directory of slide shows, mostly produced in Flash. Since 2006, we have shot all our photos in high resolution and in RAW format, using Olympus E-1, E-500, C-8080 and C-5050. Sailing on Lake Memphremagog in early August
Lake Memphremagog is a 30 mile lake running north and south at the top of Vermont and on its northeastern side. Most of the lake lies in Canada. It is a big lake which entices some big sailboats. At the south end of the lake lies Newport, while at its northern tip, lies Magog. There used to be an international swimming contest on the lake every year, but it ended when there was an international incident with US border guards who prevented an Egyptian swimmer from competing in the event.
Vélo Québec is a Montreal-based organization which organizers bicycle tours, mostly in Québec and Canada but it also launches forays into the United States. It has thousand of members. About 90% are francophones. Most members can't speak English.
