Motor Cross Racing at Rider Hill near Derby, Vermont

Rider Hill is just about the only place where dirt bike riders can compete with one another. The track is run by a group of dedicated volunters who have formed the Vermont Motor Cross Association. Board members or directors come from all over the state.

You must be a member in order to compete in the races. Annual dues were $40.00 a year in 2002, but if you are reading this in later years, you may find the price has gone up, along with tighter regulations. The weekend events seem to be attracting more and more people. You can camp on the grounds for a modest fee. Details about racing at Rider Hill can be obtained at the association's web site: http://www.hotgrips.com/riderhill.htm
