LA to VT

Hey, folks. Anyone driving from Southern CA to Vermont for foliage season? If so, I'd like to tag along! I'm a little low on cash but can help with driving, gas, etc. I'm a clean, quiet, non-smoking male in my 20's who has dreamed of seeing Vermont's famous Fall colors for years. I'd like to be there no later than the first week in Oct.

If anyone can help, please let me know!

For the past 10 years, I took greyhound bus to vermont (from Santa Ana, California) three times to see fall foliage. This year, I'll take greyhound again to Montreal ($250.2: $278 minus 10% Road Reward) and rent a car (Thrifty has 4 days weekend special for total $92 at 855 St. Catherine street, Montreal).

I wrote down all the country routes, back road names (from PW54 and other good folks) of the Northeast Kingdom (I've been all over Southern and Central Vermont before).

I never like to fly because you see nothing. It's far but it beats to drive alone. Greyhound has different routes, so you don't need to repeat what you have seen.
