Night of Oct 6 and Day of 7th

Forgot to ask earlier. Get to Albany 3:30 on 6th
Is Lake George or Ticonderoga best for that night
Then next day (7th) route for overnight in Middlebury. Maximum foliage from Albany, then overnight and on to Middleberry. Reservations on the 6th in Ticonderoga now but could change that night Any guidance appreciated

Foliage should be about the same for the Lake George area and Middlebury. It's a bit of a toss up.
