Columbus Day weekend Weather

The weather lately has been less than ideal. Lack of sunshine is providing less deep reds, and winds and rains have done a number in some places. Another storm has her eyes on New England tomorrow into Thursday AM. But fear not, those who were dumped on last week, will be spared. Those spared last week will get dumped. This storm has her eyes set on Maine. After the storm the pattern shifts. YEAH!!! Quiet beautiful fall weather is in store for the holiday weekend under dry NW winds. A weak cold front could push a few clouds in later Monday.

Wednesday. Periods of Rain. (heaviest East of US 3 in NH) 50s
Wed Night. Showers Near 40
Thursday. AM clouds then some sun. High 60-65
Thursday Night Clear lows upper 30s.
Friday Sunny and Mild. 60s/30s
Saturday/Sunday. Sunny & Crisp highs 50s lows 20s N lower 30s S
Monday Filtered Sunshine, esp late. High 60 Low 40
Tuesday. Morning clouds then sun. High 50s Lows near 30.

Enjoy!

That sounds fantastic, now let's just hope there are some leaves left to look at!!! :D We're driving up mid-afternoon on Thursday, staying in Ludlow.

I would be very interested in reading a new weather forecast for Monday through Wednesday. For photography, I like to avoid high clouds, filtered sunshine, and overcast days, so any details you can provide in this regard will be very helpful. Thank you!

MrZip,

Milder weather will take hold by early next week, however a weak cold front will be approaching New England. None of the days feature the Big Blue H sitting on top of us, as it will be overhead this weekend, centered on Sat. night.

Looks like Monday starts clear, with high clouds building in the afternoon, ahead of the cold front. Tuesday is the worst of the bunch, but not bad. Intervals of clouds and sun and perhaps a shower, but clouds will probably win out. High pressure takes over briefly wednesday, which will feature clear skies in the morning, with afternoon high clouds ahead of the next cold front on Thursday.

As we get closer in I can get more specific and I'll keep the thread updated for you.

Best of Luck.
