OT: any update on NH?
PWT, in a post a week or so ago, you mentioned that northern NH looked good. If possible, can you provide an update on the 112 and 302 loop? I'm trying to combine VT and NH in one (long) trip. I understand you are "sensitive" about the "other states", and hope that you are not offended. <g>

Here is the foliage reporting page for New Hampshire. http://foliage.visitnh.gov/regionalreports.html
They are saying the great north woods is at/ or slightly past peak, with the white mountains near peak. Hope that helps

Wish there is another forum I can post this. So at the risk of offending the moderators, here's an update on NH as of 10/5.
Along 93 south of 122 is still way too early. 302 and north is past peak. Franconia Notch, 122 (Kanca) E and W are at peak with little leave lost. Sugar Hill and around (117, 18, 116, etc.) at peak and spectacular. Higher elevations have significant leaf lost though. This is the best I have seen for the past five years.

Go ahead and offend. I'm so busy moderating I don't have time for viewing. Maybe I should retire from the rest area so I have more time for viewing. I would need some extra money to supplement my income however. Maybe a government grant of some kind. I could be the official VT " foliage viewer and road checker". If some one out there is tight with (yikes) "W" they could put in a good word.
