Peak foliage- Lamoille County

I think we're pretty much at peak foliage today around the Stowe-Morrisville area. Although the colors don't seem as bright as normal, they are still quite impressive. Lots of oranges and yellows. There are some reds, but not as much as normal. Even with the rain and low clouds today, the colors appear brighter since there's no sun to wash them out. I would recommend taking a drive up and down Route 100 between Waterbury and Stowe, but getting off and taking some side roads. One very scenic drive is Stagecoach Road in Stowe (off Route 100) and driving the length to Morrisville. Another beautiful drive right now is through the Stowe Hollow area. ENJOY!
