Thankyou so much for replying and giving me such great advice! We are actually staying the first night at Sheffield, and the second night at Bennington...have heard so much about the mohawk trail, so wondered how we could fit that in too...would there be time? I just love all the details you gave us Kerry, about everything to see and do..thanks so much. What a shame we will miss the best of the leaves around Sheffield, but I was aiming to get up north as soon as possible.Great to know there is so much more to see and do.Perhaps I could ask further advice for the rest of our trip? We have a couple of days in Woodstock, then on to Stowe, then Bethel, and then on to Maine. I greatly appreciate the time you give to visitors like us!
