Tim: what road in the NEK was late summer morning taken? This must be gorgeous in the fall. I'll be with Carol the whole first week in October, you should try to meet up with us!

It is Crepeault Hill Rd on the NW side of St Johnsbury looking toward the hills of North Danville. It is a really nice road in the Fall.

I hope to have some time for a meet up this year. It all depends on how things work out :).

Tim: Wow! That's one fantastic shot! I love blue herons and they seem to take off like a jet when I get ready to take their photos!

I hope you can find the time to meet Carol and I. She has our whole week planned out and it sounds amazing!

Is it fall yet? We are getting three days of 90's starting tomorrow. Hope the weather turns fast. Still have time for the cold shots to arrive. But the leaves are changing normally here despite the heat and drought. We'll see!

Since foliage season has been over for a while, it is time to get going again with some "off-season" shots :D

Tim: gorgeous photos! Your super moon is "super"! I like the Greenbank Hollow in Danville and I understand there is a lot of history there. I hope to get to this place in October 2017. Please post more winter shots soon (I particularly like your long views) and then the upcoming sugaring season of course. I can just smell the sweet aroma coming off the evaporator and I'm looking forward to coming up to Southern VT for the Open House Weekend. Right now, I'm sure you and your family are enjoying your outdoor winter sports! It was great to meet you last year and would enjoy another meetup somewhere in the 2017 foliage season. (I'm booking my places now, some are already filled for Columbus Day Weekend and I got the last room in one place!) Happy New Year to you! CT

P.S. Where is the lake in Waterford? Or maybe it is just an open field? Can't tell!

Hi Tim: I really think you nailed it on these photos! The red and green doors on the barn complement the scene very nicely. My eye is drawn to them and then the back drop of the fog and snow.

Well that sunrise, wow! How did the particles come together for such a widespread glow of the rising sun? That is spectacular! The color reminds me of honey! Truly amazing! CT

P.S. With this warm weather I think VT will start tapping sooner. What do you think???? I'm excited for sugaring season but I think the mud is going to be wicked this year!

Tim: these are truly beautiful! I'm looking forward to your spring photos very soon! Are you shooting some sugaring operations by the way? And some mud season roads??? Truthfully, I'm ready to say goodbye to winter but I know Vermont is enjoying a very well deserved ski and snowmobile season! That's great!

Hope to see you in Vermont next foliage season 2017! If you want to join Phil and I on our trek to Lewis Pond let me know.
