Can anybody suggest the best time to catch peak this year at Burlington/stowe? Would next weekend be too soon?

Are these shots taken in afternoon? I am wondering if i am going to get similar view when we go in afternoon around 12-2pm...

Yes, I'm sure it was at least noon by the time we got to Owls Head, as we spent much of the morning walking around Noyes Pond.

Also, this view of the pond was taken at the base of the hike, that Tim mention, just to the right of the main trail. We hiked the first day we were there, but with a tender ankle I opted for the easy short view the second time!
