Re: Autumn Scenes from the Northeast Kingdom
Dear Charles, I really needed this escape today with blistering temps of 102, this was a very pleasant reminder once again of the beauty of Autumn in Vermont. Thank you again for this beautiful post. If I park myself over the air conditioning vent maybe I can give myself a chill! Love to bring this forward for others to view.
Re: Autumn Scenes from the Northeast Kingdom
Thanks so much for the kind words.
I actually submitted 30 of these photos to Vermont Life in 2013 for their fall edition, at the recommendation of one of the editors. It took hours to choose them and then format them the way they wanted.
They didn't use any. I was really disappointed, to say the least.
Then out of the blue two weeks ago I get an email, they are using two shots in this year's fall release... at least, most likely (it isn't guaranteed until the publishing actually happens.) So I'm pretty psyched about that. One of them is supposed to be the backdrop for the table of contents.

Charles: I can't wait to see your photos in Vermont Life. I checked their facebook page and they are printing them now hot off the press! Congratulations! I am buying two, one of them for your signature!
Re: Autumn Scenes from the Northeast Kingdom
Congratulations, Charles. After subscribing for several years, I dropped my subscription, disappointed in the direction the magazine was taking. Now I am going to have to figure out how to get a copy

Re: Autumn Scenes from the Northeast Kingdom
just looked thru all 162 pics, you got some great pics there Charles--not sure why I never saw this collection before--2012 was a fantastic year for the NEK along with 2014
My favorites here are numbers 57 and 58 Wheeler Pond
and number 97 on Rt 102 in Connecticut Valley
and number 124 from Cabot Plains Rd
many of these places we have not been to yet
Well Done!

Hey thanks a lot. If you want to know where any shot was taken, I have them GPS mapped.
