South of Passumpsic village, just before you get to the round barn. I climbed down to the edge of the river to get that shot

Re: Great Color in NEK!!!!
WOW!!! thanks again, I'm becoming more hopeful of still seeing good color on the 10th!
Re: Great Color in NEK!!!!
Eeek! Looks like super early color :/ The trees are changed more here in IL than there. Ahhh!! I hope we aren't disappointed!
Re: Great Color in NEK!!!!
I don't think you will be. Some areas will be changed more than others. Drive around, there will be peak color somewhere.

Re: Great Color in NEK!!!!
After looking at the photos in these posts and reading the posts, I've come to a theory. Earlier this month we got some frost. But in the river valleys we got fog at the same time. That means no frost in the river valleys. Routes 14,15,16,5A and US2 may not peak as soon as the surrounding countrysides. Color on the low hills along route 15 are not peak yet, but the mountain sides are peaking for example. Color on route 109 at the Jct of route 108 are still early, but from Wareville north the trees are ablaze.
Weird; I love weird!
