As I sit here sniffling and hacking up a lung, recovering from the flu, I am lifting my spirits by starting to plan for our trip to Vermont this fall. Finished emailing with the place we stay to book our rental house (this will be our 4th time, same house - beautiful timber frame - LOVE it!) for the week of October 5th - 12th, maybe staying through the 13th if they don't book out the weekend. Yay! Can't wait. We were all so disappointed it didn't work out for us to come last year. Only the 2nd Fall we haven't visited since 2004. We miss you Vermont!

Hi Susan! I'm very happy that you will be spending the 2012 foliage season in Vermont! That's great news! And I'm glad you got your favorite house as well.

I hope you feel better soon! Just thinking about fall foliage less than six months away should speed up your recovery for sure! :wink:
