This was peak in the NEK [maybe just the far NEK depending on your definition], and of course the weather is horrible. Although not as bad as last year’s high winds and rains that wiped out peak, it’s still discouraging. I left earlier than planned Friday afternoon since the weather showed it was the only good day in the forecast. Skies were partly cloudy, but long range visibility was poor. Willoughby area looked to be peak or on its way down. Newark area seemed past peak.
Saturday morning, was cloudy and foggy, with poor visibility then rain/showers came. Morgan, IP, Maidstone areas seemed to be peak. Sunday morning with an early start, seemed more promising, cooler but still cloudy with some visibility in lower areas. Good color in Morgan, but on its way out…
After my trip on 9/27, I knew Holland and Brownington were slow in changing, so I headed there. A lot of low clouds were a problem, but there were still some good spots. It appears to be really early in this pic [not far from the border], but leaves were falling and the colors didn’t seem to be there [I wish I could post-process the pic better, but that's what it looked like ]
Soon after that, ~9am, showers started and things only got worse. On the way home through Westmore I was able to grab one last shot which didn’t show the rain on the lens. A lot of good color around here, but it’s past peak now…

Brownington always seem to turn later than the surrounding area. I'm not sure why. The colors in your second picture look early. Still a lot of green leaves left on the trees. Colors in your last photo looked peak. It was a rotten weekend.
