To everyone who is in awe of Carol's photography, I would like to add that the girl behind the camera is one special individual.

I've known Carol since we both signed up to post on this forum. Through the years, we've become friends through email and then met on a couple of pre-season meetups. Carol is one of the most down-to-earth, generous, selfless friends I have met during my life. During our Thelma and Louise week long VT adventure, we had a tremendous time laughing and traveling about over hill and dale. I will not forget this amazing trip! (Thanks to her special hubby for not missing her too much while we were perusing the state!) She glued to her cameras, I to my maps. Her passion for photography blended smoothly (well, most of the time  ) with my passion for adventure and road tours. We made it work!

Many of you will not get to know Carol except through her stellar photography. I am fortunate to have crossed paths through this forum with Carol and then to have made the effort to meet her in person.

Carol is as good as gold. A friend whom I will hold on to for life.
