Here's a slide show from Sunday's trip to Lewis and Jobs Ponds and Smuggler's Notch.

It was an ugly, gray-sky kind of day and I'm just an amateur, so don't expect much!

I'm not sure why the URL doesn't hyperlink. You'll have to copy/paste. Sorry!

Wow! You have some amazing pictures here! Love your Lewis Pond shots of course! What a special photo of your dog with Lewis Pond in the background. Despite the weather, you have found some great color. Soooo glad you got to the pond. Thanks for the slideshow!!!

You are most welcome! I never would have considered going there without the info garnered from this board.

Leopold loves to go along and make friends with everyone. That and splash around in the water!

Looks like Jobs Pond was a peak color.

My plane leaves tomorrow at 7:00AM. Thursday and Friday weather doesn't look good but thereafter looks like there could be some sun.

Thanks! It was great for viewing, not so much for documentation. But, I'll try again Saturday! Headed for Middlebury and the gap, through
Groton Forest to Peacham. Then over to Waterbury for sustenance, down to the Common Road, through Lincoln Gap and back to (sigh) northern NY. Whew!
