Some of my favorite Vermont photos

So, I think this will work. I have a bunch of photos uploaded to Facebook. You don't have to have a Facebook account to view them. Just cut and paste the public address I pasted below, click on the first photo and continue on. Don't try to "view album" - it won't let you do that without signing in.

Boy, I cannot wait! Counting down the days.

Hey Susan! Great to see you back on here! These photos are wonderful. Your daughter has really grown up and very cute! The pictures convey a family having a truly joyful time together exploring Vermont in autumn!

I see a lot of shots on Common Road. As you know, Carol and I are staying in Waitsfield for a week and I can't wait to show her my favorite road there! It is a WOW view all the way down to the Skinner Barn. We are taking the carriage ride as well with bm, moderator from forum, and can't wait! I talked to the owners yesterday and we hope to go Monday afternoon, October 4th.

You've got some great color there!

I'll be at the Waitsfield Farmer's Market Saturday morning, October 9th so if you are going, shoot me an email and I'll try to catch up with you guys there!

The photos are from every year between 2004-2009 with the exception of 2005. That was a pretty rough Fall for us. I was in the middle cancer treatments and my daughter was just a baby so travel wasn't an option. But 2006 was quite the celebration for us!

As you're scrolling through them I put the date of the first picture in each year set. The ones at Von Trapp Family Lodge are from 2004 actually but I remember it looking similarly every year we have been up there.

And I agree about Common Rd. - wow, wow, wow. I love all of my photos from last year! I thought you were leaving on the 8th? Maybe we'll get to meet after all! And so funny...I just emailed Sue and Gibb yesterday. LOL I think we'll be going there for our ride the week after Columbus Day though.

Hey Susan: I extended my trip again to leave on the 9th so hopefully our meetup will work at the Waitsfield Farmer's Market. There is a chance I may not leave until Sunday depending on weather, etc.

Loved your photos of the carriage ride and we are very excited to do this! The owners sound wonderful!

Carol: The Skinner Barn is on Common Road too and that is quite beautiful. Maybe we can take a leisurely walk down the road too instead of always being in the car. That would be a nice change of pace!
