Question for the locals or those in the know.
The road work into the area do you have to hump in to get close to it? Or are there areas that you can drive up into?
Thanks In Advance

You can drive to the Dam, and just above the Dam is Little River State Park. Not sure if the park is open this time of year, but you can get access to the reservoir from inside the park. I believe they have a boat launch there. The road up to the dam is off Route 2 in Waterbury. There is also access from the other end of the reservoir off Cotton Brook Road, which is off of Moscow Road. Moscow road is off Route 100 south of Stowe. I believe the access there is a canoe access to the river that exits the reservoir. It's a beautiful area. There is some good hiking off both Little River State PArk, and Cotton Brook Road.
