Now, that we have concluded another enjoyable Fall Foliage trip to Vermont, I still find pleasure in checking the Scenes of Vermont Forum as others continue posting stories and pictures. With each trip to Vermont, we'd go with goals to see or do certain things but with every visit, we discovered Vermont would always have a surprise awaiting us. That's the joys of visiting this beautiful state, you gain more experiences than you planned.
Al, thanks for sharing your very nice pictures of Vermont. Your website overflows with wonderful photography of many other beautiful places in America that we have visited and certainly extends an invitation for others to visit them.
For all others who have contributed and shared so much on the Fall Foliage forum, thank you.
For the wonderful people of Vermont, thank you for sharing your beautiful state, taking pride instead of resentment when you found us leaf peepers slowing you down for an assortment of reasons and more often than not was because we just "had to have a certain picture!" Your smiles and friendly waves conveyed you understood!

Hey Al,
Good to see you got back safely.
I have to say, nothing but postcard pics! Love that prize shot of double rainbow and the barn rooftop with snow / ice covered mountain in the back ground. Just out right great pics.
Can’t wait to see some more. Hope we can meet up again on another photo op. The SOV reunion was a blast.
Take care,
GIC

Very nice shots, Al. Looked through some of the other portfolios and great stuff there as well.

George, I'm glad that you liked my photos. I put lots of them on my site since several people asked me to do so. While I'm satisfied with them, I'll probably remove some of them later since I only like to include my favorites on the website.

Yes, the reunion was very nice and I hope to make it again. Next time the plan is to have it later in October in Southern Vermont. That could be a problem for me since my Grandson's birthday is the 16th and my son and his family make a big deal out of birthdays.

I leave on a business trip to Tennessee tomorrow. I am taking a few days vacation and I hope to shoot that Grist Mill in Babcock State Park in West Virginia late in the week. I am hopeful that the colors will be good there.

Hi Al: The next reunion will be when and where the majority agrees on. So Southern VT is not set in stone. Some people want to go back to the NEK early and some want to do portions of Southern VT. Unfortunately, the foliage is so drastically different in the north vs. south and we can't be in two places at once! (Or can we? )

I can be somewhat flexible. It doesn't matter to me.

I will post the 2010 reunion thread in January (wow, that's only 10 weeks away! ) so that gives us quite a few months to put it all together again! Part of the fun is in the planning anyways as witnessed by the 11,000 plus views in the 2009 Reunion Thread!

Plus we have the Friday tour or whatever day Phil can do the pre-reunion tour! My, this is getting complicated! :?

So stay tuned everyone and we'll figure out the how, when and where's over the long, cold and snowy winter!
