I'm planning to drive up to Peacham on 9/23. Am I too early?

You will be a bit early, but there should be early color in the wet areas. I have been there yet, but I was through Danville last weekend. Look for wet to swampt areas around there and Groton State Forest. The wet areas are real early this tear.

I think the weather is suppose to be "partly sunny", with the temp. around 50-60 degrees F. I'll be in Quebec (hopefully), catching some of the "near peak" foliage, then
heading into the NEK around the 23rd. I can't wait. If it rains, no biggie. That's what umbrellas are for. :)

I wandered around the Peacham/Danville/Groton area to day and it looks good for next weekend. Hit the dirt roads for best color. Mack's Mountain Road, Keiser Pond Road, and the Brook Road from the Greenbank Hollow covered bridge west to the Peacham Road were wonderful. Read my "Peacham/Groton" post.

Thank you so much PWT, I will check it all out on Saturday and Sunday. I'll have my laptop to give updates during my trip.
