Was in Woodstock on Tuesday. The usual mad house of leaf-peepers (of which I am a member)... Mild color rife with golds, yellows and ochres. Going south about 8 miles is the famous Jenne Farm. Supposedly the most photographed farm in the United States. Try and frame the picture through the trees from the road.
Just be careful when you come upon the Jenne Farm road to the right; it comes up quickly and you can miss it. Just over the hill a tad is the farm scene everyone's talking about.
Didn't make it to Manchester.
Safe travels.

From what little information I've been able to get, it sounds early down in Woodstock. From what I saw last weekend, the area northeast of Woodstock in the Peacham area south to Fairlee should be perking up this weekend. One area that seems to be coming along right now is northwestern Vermont. North of route 15 and east of route 109 should be good this weekend.
