I did a tour of Southern Vermont today and the weather and foliage color is spectacular. Areas visited were Magic Mountain, Londonderry, Stratton, Bondville and Mount Snow, West Dover. Routes traveled were I-91, Route 30, Route 11, Route 100 and 112. Oddly enough, the Connecticut River Valley around Brattleboro is also at peak. Seems like most of Vermont is near peak in the Southern part. Oaks remain 100% green. Once I got south of Jacksonville, the foliage In Massachusetts wasn't good. Lots of rust colored leaves.

Thanks for the update Kevin. We will end up in SoVT to hike and tool around the back roads over the long weekend. I love Bondville, and Magic Mountain is at a higher elevation and should be peak. I'm going to find out if they are doing their lift rides or not. We have not yet decided where in Manchester we are hiking yet. So many choices!

Glad you enjoyed the day. It is truly glorious outside! :D

Mount Snow and Magic Mountain, both areas are at peak and should remain so for a few days. The weather ahead looks good.
