I went down to New Haven today with my son to check out the Fall foliage. I was expecting decent foliage color, but the area away from the coast is about 50-75% bare. The only color left is the rust/brown color from the Oaks.

We drove home via Route 1, Route17, Route 22 and Route 66 back to I-91. We stopped by Powder Ridge on the way home as the area around Lyman's Orchard has some nice viewpoints.

This is my last foliage post of the year. It was a fun one.

Thanks for all your advice and travels on the forum this season, it was great! Hope to see you here in 2021 for yet another foliage season. Stay well, Happy Holidays and Happy New Year while I'm at it!

Snow in the NW hills on Friday, so I hope to get up there for some left over snowliage shots, if not, onward with the hiking up there during stick season!
