WOW !!
I took the long way to work today using routes 100C, 100, 118 and 109. WOW ! And that's from a jaded Vermont. The reds and oranges' were popping and the yellows were showing up. What a difference 5 days make!. Right now I look in the area from 100 and east and route 15 and north. I'm heading up tomorrow to give my new digital camera a real workout.
Re: WOW !!
I have my time set for travelling on the 6th of October. And it covers mostly northern Vermont. Do I have to prepone it? Do you think they will last till 6th

Thanks for the report, pwt! Still hoping to get up there late in the week. Went through my entire VT photography book and marked up that Jimapco well over the weekend. --c

Re: WOW !!
Routes 58 and Lincoln Gap will be iffy. Route 14 to Barre will be good to Barre and Groton will be peak. Drive up to Owl's Head Mountain in Groton and hike the 2/10ths of a mile to the top. Great views. On route 14 in East Brookfield, take route 65 to the Brookfield Floating Bridge. Check out the areas east of route 14. Peacham, Barnet. route 110. Good rides and small villages.
Re: WOW !!
Charles, I did the Darling Hill Road/ Newark Road and the colors are lagging below Newark. Go higher.
