Amazingly enough, even though we are well past peak here in the NEK there are still pockets of color around. The Poplars and Silver Maples are turning bright yellow (some poplars are even sporting some orange fringes this year). I got these shots on Darling Hill yesterday. With the sun out the next few days, the tree tunnels here should get even better. I bet it was really good this morning. So if you're "stuck" with plans to come this way, don't despair, IMHO it is still beautiful
