First, I'd like to thank mmvt for the great suggestion and report of some towns along Route 7. I'd try to visit some of them and find the most beautiful day of my leaf peeping trip.

Starting early in the cold day, Killington was added by beautiful fog. My plan was to visit Jenne Farm fisrt then heading to Rt 7 before coming back to Cloudland Rd at the end of the day.

This is my map.

The forest roads from Jenne Farm to Lake Rescue had been lost most of their colors. So I didn't make any stop until here.

I stopped to have lunch at Wallingford and found the colorful mountain in the West so I took Rt140 instead of Rt 7. I found that Rt 140 from Wallingford to Tinmouth was very beautiful.

From Tinmouth, I headed to Middletown Spring and took Rt 133 south to Pawlet.

My energy had almost gone from the Jet Lag so I decided not to go further, then I headed back to Killington via Lake St Catherine.

Late afternoon in Killington. Thank you for this wonderful forum that makes my trip a wonderful experience. My family are very happy to see beautiful colours of nature here. Wish I would visit Vermont again in the future.
