I took all of these early in the morning before it was completely overcast. By the time I made it to Lincoln there was thick cloud cover and spotty showers. Still beautiful though.

Thanks for the kind comments. I'm glad the pictures turned out as well as they did as I was somewhat in a rush making my way over to Alburg, VT to travel down Rt. 2 on Lake Champlain. The route looked interesting on the map so I wanted to check it out. The foliage generally was not as spectacular around the lake but there are a few spots on Rt. 2 where there are very dramatic vistas of the White Mountains in the far distance. Unfortunately, there didn't seem to be a lot of places to pull over for pictures.
