Hi Foliage Friends: Just another of my miscellaneous posts! I found this on The Rutland Herald for those of you who enjoy those Hallmark holiday movies! Chester, Vermont was the location of the filming and I know I'll be looking for spots that I recognize from my B&B stay in Chester, fall 2007! Besides, I am a sucker for quaint holiday programs, especially with the cold weather here and flakes flying on the horizon! Enjoy!

Ok Abby, I just finished watching "Moonlight and Mistletoe" aka Santaville aka Chester, Vermont. (It had to be taped by someone else so I just got to see it tonight.) It "was" corny but I caught all the places I visited in Fall 2007, such as the Fullerton Inn (many shots), we ate at the Williams River Cafe which was shown a couple of times, along with the craft store, book store, Chester Depot and another inn which I recognize, but don't know the name of! There was an inside shot of a beautiful covered bridge but I don't remember seeing one in Chester. I'll have to figure that one out! We stayed overnight in the village so we got to spend a lot of time on the Main Street where the majority of the film was made.
Anyways Abby, everyone lived happily ever after (both couples) and Santaville was saved at the stroke of midnight Christmas Eve! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So what's wrong with corny? Oh well, I'm just a kid at heart! And I love the holidays! Wish I were in Vermont for Christmas Eve too!
P.S. You should stop in Chester some time. The village is adorable and very "quintessential Vermont". Lots of nice shops and a couple of stellar inns. The book store is fabulous!
