Hi! I am no expert, but I don't feel that the cold blast will make the leaves fall quicker, the wind and rain are usually the culprits that make the leaves fall. We are in the northeast kingdom of Vermont, and our leaves as of today, 10/14 have continued to be brilliant. Some have left, but there are so many still on the trees that the color is magnificient. Should you be interested in seeing for yourself, we are off exit 25, I-91 Barton. You can check with the local chamber as to places to stay, etc. info@bartonareachamber.com

A cold blast does not have a big effect on foliage, but the heavy winds and rain will hurt up north. At the time you're coming anywhere around and south of route US4 will be peak.
