Any suggestions on places to eat in the Newfane, Grafton, Danby area? Heading to Vermont next week for the first time and would appreciate any tips on things to do and places to eat in the area. Thanks

Hi,
Generally the best places we'v found to dine here in Southern Vermont have been the Inns which feature dining. There are some wonderful experiences to be had if you do you r homework. The Three Clock Inn in South Londonderry is absoilutelyt fabulous they have a New Japanese chef whos creations are fusions of Japanese and French.
A little further north is teh Andrie Rose Inn in Ludlow which Features award winning chef Irene Matson. Dinners served usually only on Friday and saturday . Closer to Graftoon is the Inn at Saxton's River which we've enjoyed thoroughly every time down there. In newfane we recommend the Four Columns Inn, Another French/American fusion. and of course Our Own To-kai Te here at The Old Town Farm Inn. We serve Treaditional Japanese cuisine in a casual Vermont country inn environment.
All of these establishments can be found on the web through Yahoo or Ask or any other search engine you choose to use.
One important last note. if you opt to dine at any of the above, make reservations. We do not serve "walk-ins" and some of the others donot as well . The ones that do will have pretty long waits at this time of year.
Enjoy your trip and bon apettit!

------------------
Aleks & Michiko Hunter
Old Town Farm Inn
665 Vt.
