North East kingdom - this weekend or next?

Is this weekend better or the next , to get the best out of our trip for fall colors in NEKingdom? We are making our first v long drive to Vermont and want to view the best . Your suggestions will be very much appreciated.

This coming weekend looks good for the kingdom. The farther north the better.
