Hi, spent Fri. and Sat. in North Central, VT. Most of the leaves are down, but in areas with larch and birch, the yellows are brillant. It was nice to be able to see further into the forest and there are more views now. The weather was invigorating. At times we would sit in the field in the warm sunshine, then watch as the dark clouds rolled in and it would snow, then back to sun and clouds, then more snow. It is still a wonderful time to discover Vermont. Hot soup and hot chocolate never tasted so good on days like that. Every season in Vermont dramatic and pronounced.
