Well, I am coming up earlier than usual this year (Oct 7-9th) and was wondering with all the variations in leaf progress due to elevation differences, can people recommend where "not" to go. I have traveled all the great "drives" recommended on this site, so I am hoping I can identify where not to go and then figure things out!

I just came off route 100 from Hancock. The wind has really done a job on the leaves from there to Warren. This is still color but ther is a lot of bare trees. Moss Glen Falls is closed for construction. Route 125 is almost fixed, but Texas Falls isn't. An alternative would be take route 12 south from Monpelier to Bethel. In Bethel trun right on route 107 west and drive route 107 west to route 100 south i Stockbridge and continue south on route 100.
