How about the hills of Corinth?

I'm going up to Manchester on Friday for a few days and was wondering how things looked around Corinth. Is it worth the drive up to that area? It's one of my favorite parts of Vermont but I'm worried about the affect of the strong winds. Would a day trip to the NE Kingdom make more sense?

I was down there last weekend and it look early with a lot of leaves still on the trees. I'd give a try and maybe work your way up to Peacham, which was early but had some "firecrackers" last weekend. If you happen to eat at P&H Truck Stop on RT.302 in Wells River, eat a light lunch and then try their maple cream pie. Yummy !!!
