I was looking at my itinerary and it looks like, I will be visiting, I think 8-9 state parks and state forests during my 5 days travel in VT and a bit of NH.
Does it make sense to buy a combined pass (if there is one) or pay as we go would be better ?

Thanks

Hi Sparks: Visit this site for information. I highly recommend visiting Seyon Lodge State Park, one of Vermont's hidden gems. You can put a donation in the box for a visit at the entrance to Noyes Pond there. There is hiking all around the pond.

If you go to Manchester, the Skyline Drive is sponsored by a private entity and it is a site to behold at the top. The fee is $20 per car and in my opinion, worth every penny for the enormous long views in every direction. The facility at the top has been revamped and is quite a visual and soulful experience. There is a coupon on this page but do check out the other listings on the left.

Visiting Vermont's State Parks is a must during your foliage vacation, a pleasant diversion to combine leaf peeping with the incredible beauty of the state. Enjoy! CT
