Which Lake/Reservoir/Pond to visit for best morning shots?

I have seen last few years pictures of water bodies early morning with fog and reflection and have always loved them.. we are planning to visit Vermont (Stowe) this year from 9-12th Oct.

Could you please help us to pick 2 lakes which we could visit in morning early before sunrise to capture pictures? Attached are the reference pics of Chittenden reservoir which i loved but it is 2 hours from were we are staying (waterbury) so i was looking for suggestions in 1-1.5 hours with similar views?
