We are in Quebec and I have to tell you… it’s breathtaking up here.
One thing - the season is progressing very fast, it seems to me there won’t be much left
if you wait one more week. Here some areas are past peak even though it started just
a few days ago. Mont Orford is way past peak, around Magog also is past peak.
But Sutton is AMAZING, it’s only a few minutes from the border, take 215 past Sutton,
absolutely incredible. Also guys, I love Vermont, but Cantons de l’Est -
Eastern Townships - are just prettier. The roads feel more untouched and villages
are a little more quaint. And the food… god, it’s so much better.
The forests are less mixed, so the colors are slightly more even. Also way less people.
Absolutely deserted today, some crowds were visible yesterday, but only local - all gone.
Anyway, a few pics taken in last couple of days, it’s starting to shape up as
a successful photo trip
