Better Luck Next Year-We'll Be Back

Thanks to everyone for the advice...too bad we really missed out on everything. Worst vacation in 11 years of marriage, but it wasn't anyone's fault. Listen to this tall tale: First, get off plane in Manchester from St. Louis. I'm running a fever (& still have it 4 days later). Feeling like crap was...

Re: Confused as ever (ha)

Thanks for the tips. I saw the weekend forecast, but I'm optimistic that whatever we see will be much better than St. Louis this year.

Re: Confused as ever (ha)

Confused as ever (ha)

We fly out Friday and are excited. Re: Getting worried for Oct 14-18 trip

Thanks for setting my mind at ease. We were hoping not to have to chase the colors too much by car. I appreciate the help.

Getting worried for Oct 14-18 trip

Am I jumping the gun here? I can't help but be worried that our trip into southern Vermont and New Hampshire will be a little late on Oct 14-18 for good color. Do the peak colors stick around for a few days? We fly into Manchester Friday afternoon the 14th. Would we be better off heading into northe...

Oct. 14-18, Central Vermont past peak?

This year is our 2nd trip to Vermont (Oct. 14-18) & NH to take in more of New England's autumn show. We missed a lot of autumn last year by coming 1 1/2 weeks too soon at the end of September. We're staying in Nashua to be near friends and have been paying attention to the foliage reports. My concer...
