Re: One day left - go north or south?

Re: One day left - go north or south?
Thanks, ixl. That clinches it for me. I think I will head up through East Burke over to Stark, NH and circle back down through Crawford Notch and the Kancamangus Highway. Let's hope for as little rain as possible.

One day left - go north or south?
I have one day left on my trip before heading back home on Saturday. Despite being late in the season and due to great advice from this site, I have stayed north for the last few days. The color has not been as vibrant as I have seen in past years (where is the red?), but it has still been great in ...

I took Cloudland Road to Pomfret and there were some areas that were very nice. I went on down to Jenne Farm to scout it...

Re: Jimapco atlas
Okay, please disregard the previous post. I found what I needed on the Jimapco web site. They have a list of the retail outlets which carry their product in Vermont. The internet is a wonderful thing...

Jimapco atlas
From all that I have read on this site, the Jimapco atlas seems to be the preferred road map. The Delorme book is readily available on-line but the Jimapco is a bit more difficult to locate. I am staying in White River Junction Oct. 11-15. Where would be the best place to buy the Jimapco atlas if I ...

First of all, thanks to all of you who give such great information on a consistent basis! I am an Atlanta native who thinks that fall in New England is one of the most beautiful places in the world. I have been fortunate enough to have visited New England in the fall several times in the last fiftee...
