Hi guys, I am planning to drive to Lake Willoughby today morning from St. Johnsbury.I think foliage around it will be past peak right? Is it worth driving up there? Do you have any other suggestions for any lake or pond near by which might have peak foliage still?

NH is bursting with color. I took Rt. 4 east to 118 North through Enfield and Canaan. 118 has a lot of color. If you hiked Mt. Cardigan you'd have one heckuva view. Definitely peak on the mountains. It looks like Stratton is past peak after the rain. Thank you for the update. I think all mountains in VT will be past peak now right? I'm heading up to Mt Greylock on Sunday if the weather is good. I'll post a report. Please do post a report. I was trying to post a pic of the trees outside our room Stowe Mountain Lodge (Spruce Peak) but no luck. The colors that are here are bright unlike some we have seen so far. We are going up the gondola tomorrow so I will report back. These are some of the best colors we have seen in Vermont so far....

I was on I-89 between Richmond and Montpelier today and the colors are coming along nice on the hillsides through Bolton, Waterbury, Middlesex.
