With colder temps tonight when do you think best? Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday, thinking about hopping ferry, back and forth. Don't laugh I'm not sure if we can just looking at map. Would love to see colors on lake.

North on 100 to Lowell fantastic. 58 east to 5a open pasture great. All three Burke, didn't go up the Mtn. 114 to 5 to St. Johnsbury. 2 to Danville then down to Groton, Peacham was cool,nice vistas along road. North on 232 late in spots but still beautiful. Cold hollow cider mill has a harvest festival. Lots of traffic,in the afternoon find a better route.Bumper to bumper,stop and go. Saturday and Sunday. Good luck

I will do Smugglers gap for sure. Sounds like it is still nice around Barton And Burke Mtn. What are your suggestions everyone? Please don't kick me off the forum for asking if the White Mountains are worth checking out in that other state.Thank you for all of the advice, David+Stacy

We are arriving in Boston 10/06 spend the night in Wilmington. Then four nights in Stowe. Lots of good info on this site. Love to drive scenic routes and take pictures.
