thanks for the tipbits...i was thinking about going up the NY throughway(87)...then go east from lake george....given that it might have peak in vermont during that weekend....and from the progression of the foliage chart...peak season seem to be moving out west....hopefully we'll catch something on...

Any ideas on the best route to see whatever that is left of this year's foliage? And what should I expect to see?...and is it worth the trip?Thanks!

Perhaps I provided the wrong information...I was thinking about Manchester area...I did some research last night...and that's not exactly east central Vermont. Any ideas now? Thanks!

Just looking for some advise on the best route to drive from Northern Jersey to East Central Vermont on Nov 1. I know it might have passed the peak foliage season but still trying to catch something...and any good B&B around the area...
