Looks like Long Pond is really holding on a long time, looks like it was still full peak Thursday with all reds.

And wow Burke Mtn. looks like it really came on strong over the last couple of nights.

IMO it's always worth the trip since it's so cool just in itself, especially the part along the river through the mature timber (something sadly becoming rather rare in VT these days). No idea what the color is like this year at this time though. But it's just so cool, I'd say always worth it. Watch...

@harley0711 - also don't forget that 91 itself is amazing, between Lydonville and Barton it's just insane, some of the best leaf peeping is right along that highway, very few pull outs though and one of two is in a terrible spot with nothing, but northbound there is one that is in a fantastic spot. ...

@harley071- I can't say much about 111 since we hit that in the pitch black. The next day we cut over on 16 and that was really great (could also try cutting over sooner from 100, but maybe that northern bit is great? didn't see it). @harley071 - yeah, 114 north from 105, maybe go up 3/4 of the way to Canada and turn around (maybe around the top end of Norton Pond? although one nice spot a bit farther on) or go up to the border and then head east and then looking left, to the north, some amazing, solid red slopes in the distance...

Indeed! Along with 2012 in the NEK, this year in the NEK was the greatest foliage display we have ever seen in our lives! Amazing.
