agree--We love 89 going south from Montpelier!

I'm happy to report that Waitsfield is also having a good year--east warren rd is a JOY all the way past plunkut rd, where the forest and mtns then return--Its a great drive, really scenic! What a Fall this year for Vermont!

going east from Route 116, Rt 17 is beautiful this year, and going east from the Jerusuleum Country store there is a color explosion for a few miles, to the south--A stunning ride, also nice color near Mad River Glen!

Route 100 going south from Waterbury all the way to Rochester, lotsa color on the east side--more color further south from Pittsfield to Killington--Rt 100 is having a good year!

Just got back from driving around--from the Cortina Inn driving east on Rt 4 is where the colors really start, and they are beautiful--keep going to killington rd on your right--after passing killington center, you'll start to see lots of red trees then hit the parking lot area before the killington...

some construction north of waterbury, on route 100--only 1 lane at a time--backup was minor earlier but after 3 pm, there were dozens of cars backed up--be prepared

off Rt 302, take RT 232 from south to north--Its great, best mix of colors we've seen there!--It was 9 AM on a bright cloudy morning--also just west of that intersection, on 302, some gorgeous reds!

Before we ht the amazing color in the NEK, we drove Interstate 91 from Rt 4 to Lyndonville--color is just starting, but this road hardly needs color, its one of the most beautiful Interstates in the country
