Normally I would try to drive down Route 100, but we were on a short piece of it today (Rochester to Hancock) and it was pretty disappointing compared to normal, although there were certainly spots of color - mostly yellow/gold/rust; little bright red. Route7 has some good spots, but it is just star...

We came from 107/12 over Bethel Mountain to 100, up 100 to Hancock and over 125 to East Middlebury. There were spots of decent color but there were also areas that were more than 50% bare and some almost completely gone. The NE facing hills that missed the brunt of the storm were the best viewing. Thanks. We are coming up 89 from Boston, probably over Bethel Mountain, up 100 and over the MIddlebury Gap. That should give us a good idea of conditions for exploring on Wednesday.

bm - Looks like the the end is in sight in Addison County. We are headed there tomorrow. Any update would be useful. I am hoping for the best, but not expecting it.
