Re: Hiking suggestions near Warren?

Sweet, thanks so much ctyanky! The living legend!! I'll look up both Sunset Rock and Mt. Snow, and depending on our time, we'll pick one (or both) of these -- e.g., Saturday evening and Sunday morning.

From_the_NEK -- Thanks! Yea, each shot is deliberate, but I didn't quite realize how often I include the sun in the shot :-) kcflanders -- Thanks! Haha, I assume you're talking about the one w/ the big, hunched over tree on the left-side of the road, lol. The image's EXIF data says it was 2:30pm, a...

Trip Report (Oct 10 - 12), with photos!

Hello everyone! Foreword: I've been 6-year reader of this forum, greatly relying on the awesome advice but essentially never posting :-( Having sadly not gone on my annual foliage drive the past 2 years due to work, I just had to go this year. I live in Providence, RI. I've only gone through a few o...

Re: VERMONT PONDS AND LAKES

Here's a 15-shot panorama that I took from Lewis Pond Overlook last week -- Oct 7, 2011: http://www.chriswtanner.com/images/panoramas/lewis_pond_overlook_900.jpg Btw, the Four Mile Rd and Lewis Pond Rd aren't TOO bad until the very end, which starts around the turn for Lewis Pond Overlook. Some of t...
