am gong to attempt lewis pond overlook tomorrow 10/3, can anyone update me if the bad weather makes the road impassible, or is it still open all the way to the overlook. also, is the overlook situated best for morning photography or later in the afternoon. thanks.

your lawn chairs look awfully familiar.....
the picture that you posted of the beautiful westport style lawn chairs looks like the ones near the robert frost memorial trail off rt. 125, near the middlebury/snow bowl campus. i may be mistaken about your nice picture, but even if i am that is one beautiful spot for foliage photography.
