waterfall

wowtravel, the waterfall labeled "vermont colors 3128" is in vt viewable from the taftsville covered bridge. there was another waterfall "havana glen 3174" that i have since removed from this set. you can still access it from another set i have: http://www.flickr.com/photos/blypix/sets/7215760290533...

colors

to andy: yes i was using a circular polarizer to get the deep blue skies and minimize reflections. the exact filter i use is the singh-ray colorcombo - it is a polarizer + color enhancer in one filter. it is fairly expensive but i love it to death because i'm primarily a landscape person. :)

thanks for all your comments. i'm a serious amateur and used a canon 1d for the pics. apologies for the waterfall pic, that was the one pic that was not taken vt on my way to a wedding shoot in upstate ny. all other pics were taken in vt. believe it or not, the light was really good that day and the...

just a lurker here. thanks to the prolific posters (you know who you are), i was able to visit the state for this first time this past weekend for some foliage. i drove up from nj through rt 91 all the way up to woodstock. i'm surprised some the areas are already past peak but most are still at peak...
