I like that they show alot of pictures. Look at The Falls of Lana. It really lets you know what to expect after your hike.

I stumbled on www.northeastwaterfalls.com. It covers all New England and has alot of pictures, directions and photo tips.

Thanks, pwt. Since it seems we'll be staying mostly in the southern areas, what are your thoughts about Kelly Stand? Is it driveable in a minivan at this time of year. I was thinking of coming in through Bennington and crossing over to Brattleboro instead of coming in from Mass. on 91.

SMS, I have a factory installed nav system. We were in Vermont in July and it worked great. It showed even on dirt roads. However, there was a couple staying at the same inn and they said their's wasn't showing alot of the smaller roads. I guess they're all not equal.

Southeast Vermont October 9-11

Hi everyone. I am new to the forum and this is my first post. My wife and I will be in the Brattleboro area Oct. 9-11 and would like some advice as to what might be good areas at that time. I was thinking about rt 9 west to 100 north up to Granville to see Moss Glen Falls, then up to Warren and cutt...
