Deerfield Valley Farmers’ Day Fair
August 9–12, Wilmington
Now in its 99th year, fair highlights include a classic car show, a horse show, exhibit halls and family entertainment.
Danville Fair
August 11–12, Danville
Entering its 86th year, this fair on the Green offers rides, food, music, a horse and pony pull, and a fireworks show on the closing night.
Vermont State Fair

The 171st edition of the annual fair features thrill and kiddie rides, a demolition derby, comedy night and various musical acts.
Orleans County Fair

Caledonia County Fair

Bondville Fair

The Bondville Fair bills itself as the oldest continuous fair in Vermont, running annually since 1797. Arts and crafts, a quilt hall, sugarhouse and tractor pulls are all part of the fun.
Champlain Valley Fair

Billed as “The Ten Best Days of Summer,” this fair at the Champlain Valley Exposition features carnival rides, Vermont products and vendors, farm animals and no shortage of good food.
Guilford Fair

Tunbridge World’s Fair
September 13–16, Tunbridge
The Tunbridge World’s Fair has run continuously since 1867 excep
t in 1918, due to the great flu epidemic, and during World War II. Top events include harness racing, horse pulling, a swine show and live entertainment.
35TH ANNUAL MANCHESTER ART AND CRAFT FESTIVAL
This is a juried art and craft festival with 140 artists and artisans displaying and selling original art and contemporary crafts. Spaces are located inside the cozy confines of Riley Rink and outside building for the outdoor exhibitors, craft demos, and the food trucks. The dates are September 28-30, Friday and Saturday 10-5 and Sunday 10-4. Having the building insures an enjoyable show in the event of rain. In addition to the art and craft, there is a specialty food section which includes Vermont wines and distilled spirits. Come meet the artists, hear their stories, and buy their handcrafted works..
